Formula 1.

A pity I couldn't catch last night's practice rounds, but I guess tonight's qualifying rounds made up for my loss. Be thankful I can at least watch it at home and have a brief thrill of it.

Lewis Hamilton.
Nico Rosberg.

:D

Not much of a disappointment for me for their qualifying rounds, I guess. Hamilton was absolutely brilliant! Rosberg could have been a tad faster to surpass Vettel's lap. But it's all right. Tomorrow matters most.

Rosberg looked so suave with his blonde tress dripping in perspiration which accentuated the charisma he exuded.
DID YOU SEE?!

Hamilton was awesome! Wasn't he smouldering hot? That smile of his was so genuine and sincere. (Obviously!)

McLaren MP4-24.
Williams FW31.
:D

BGP001 was stunning, so was MP4-24!

L-O-V-E-L-Y!

So please don't.

Things are taking a turn now, and as a matter of fact, it is for the worse. It is different this time round, I can feel it. Things are slowing down. If you deprive me of my chances, life will reduce to a hollow tunnel. What I say will only return as echoes.

Not another word.

"This space dictates my love for you. Should I abandon it for two revolutions around the clock, it would cut me through my flesh because without it, I feel disconnected from you."

Square one.

History repeating itself. I guess it is just a cycle we can never break free from. I just didn't see it coming. You were right, weren't you? Despite referring to a separate matter, it applies to every other situation too. It is unpredictable, it is unforeseeable, just like weather forecast. Anything can happen, be it good or bad.

Life lesson #001:
(I'll keep it within myself.)

The depth.

I would say, this post is a creation of abruptness. Merely a surging urge to submit an entry. Following this, I would head to bed in hopes of catching an early night.

My brain isn't exactly at its brightest moment now so my many thoughts are practically quite cloudy now. I don't even know where to begin. With every passing second along with every bat of my eye, different thoughts are flashing across my head.

Despite being dozy now, I am positively sure that the instant I plonk myself onto my bed, the daily routine of tossing and turning would commence. It is difficult to settle in and disconnect from my train of thoughts. My mind isn't in a soporific state for me to slip into slumber with a snap of fingers. This has been continuing sporadically since days days back.

Deep down under.

Screw facebook. Whatever.

True love = Everlasting love?
Everlasting love = True love?

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
This time, I am exceptionally worried about dearest. But I am most certain that he'll be tough enough to get through whatever may comes.
Speech of strength :)

Things have got to get better somehow, someday.
Someday.

Smitten.

I had a dream about the most beautiful thing ever.

Honour.

I promised a post, so here it is.

The night before, I clocked two whole hours of tossing and turning on bed which utterly frustrated me. I miss those days when I instantly slip into slumber the moment I throw myself right onto my bed. But then again, those times are the days when I would be deprived of my beauty sleep.

Anyhow, I woke up even before my alarm could interrupt. By alarm, I mean my automatic, electronic, robotic phone alarm, and not my personal alarm call.

0520, thereabout.

Casually and delicately, I walked out to my balcony and the sight I caught was definitely one of the most beautiful skies I have ever seen with my naked eye. The curvature of the crescent moon was shaped into a perfect arc. I love crescents above all. Considering that this is Singapore, a crescent moon with a couple of glistening stars hanging right above is actually quite a deal. Well, at least to me.

All of us met up at Whitesands few minutes past eight. Nab, Anne and I were there to send Nadz off to be a man, and do the right thing. I have to admit that it was my virgin visit to a not-so-little island called Pulau Tekong.

It was most certainly an eye-opener being exposed to what I would see it as something honourable now. We took the catered bus to SAF Ferry Terminal before boarding what you call a fastcraft. The speed of the boat wasn't anywhere near fast.

Upon arrival, we had to part with Nadz to have a guided tour around School 1, which is at Rocky Hill. Throughout this entire thing, I felt surprisingly nostalgic. Kind of reminded me of those times I have spent at NCC HQ, SISPEC and BMTC at Pasir Laba Camp. Wonderful moments.

When we got back to School 2, we were ushered to the main auditorium where Nadz and other recruits were. Watching the video they played on screen made me felt like I was back in Spec Course. Memories oh memories.

Thereafter, the Muslim recruits were led to a separate auditorium for some briefing, so as their parents, we had to tag along. After which came the sad but inevitable moment where we had to bid farewell to Nadz. Please understand that I don't wish to elaborate any further.

We left Tekong for mainland, and we met Farhan at Whitesands.
FINALLY, I had my Alfredo at Coffee Club.

We headed to Tampines to catch The Time Traveler's Wife. Dearest managed to stay awake throughout the whole movie. Haha :)

(The many things in my mind.)

Bone dry.

Just clocked in four hours. One-third revolution round the clock.

JUST HOW LONG MORE?!
My patience is
thinning.
My patience is running dry.

Battle the battle.

For the superficial sake of killing time, I am actually trying to get down to brief writing. Why the need for that? Well, I am sure we all know that TP's website can irritate the faeces out of us at crucial moments such as CHECKING OF RESULTS.

Since I am not particularly a TP-activities-oriented student, I didn't register for the text service, or whatever you would love to call.
Hence, the agony of waiting.

I'll just let it be a test of my very limited patience. Let's see how far it can actually stretch. Besides, it's not as though throwing my tantrums would make the system run any faster. My patience has just clocked two whole hours and I am proud to announce its continuance.

Acceding to Sally's humble request, I'll make this a long post. Hahaha.

Long..

Loong..

Looong..

Loooong..

Looooong..

Loooooong..

Looooooong..

Loooooooong..

Looooooooong..

Loooooooooong..

Pretty satisfying, no? What's definitely a notch more gratifying was the apple strudel I had. It will be a pity should I finish the whole piece all at once. So I kept the other half in the refrigerator and I shall savour every bit of it. But in honest frank truth, no strudel beats Ritz's.

Anyways, if you happened to swing by Anne's blog, you would know I was out shopping with her. Chew Anne Marie, I didn't buy many things, mind you. I have so so so sooo so so so so many things I want to buy, me thinks. Sure there are, but I can't find them! How upsetting.

Long enough, right?
So off I go :D

None of it.

Too much negativity.

Yesterday was dearest's POP. Funny how time flew. I am extremely proud of him, and he knows that.

I was very much amazed that my dad actually granted me to leave the house at 2200.
Jean: Daddy, I am going out.
Daddy: Oh, going out now uh.

So dearest came to pick me up at 2200, thereabout. We headed to airport since I wanted to have some ice cream at Swensen's.

Then we headed to Changi Village since dearest wanted to pack some food home for his family.

I updated :D

Murky.

Friday was a day I have been anticipating all week. Like I have mentioned previously, plans have been lined up for me and it all started in the early afternoon.

I met up with soulmate to run some errands before heading to school to sit for our very first paper. I don't wish to mention which paper because I hope I would see the last of that word thereafter. But here's a clue. It involves economics.

Right after our paper, we had a scarf wrapped around Hamz's eyes and we hung a birthday tag around her neck. We got her safely on the bus and there was never a moment stares were spared. It was sweet that a couple of girls actually shouted Hamz a birthday wish whilst crossing the road.

We brought her to Fish&Co., still blindfolded. When we have settled down with all preparations done, we removed the scarf and Hamz was shocked to see the little surprise we sprang for her. I was glad that she appreciated everything we done.
Delight :D

Hohoho, a sudden absence of interest to blog. So I'll just keep it short.

On the very same day, Nadz and Ash had to bid farewell to Fish&Co., a place they called their second home. I'll always remember those times when we had fun at work.
Good friends made, good friends that will last.

A group of us gathered outside Delifrance to hang out after closing. Just thinking about that brings back so many memories about work, and it goes way back to 15 December 2008, the very first day when this wonderful journey started.

Those knowledge I now possess..
Those people I now know..
I stepped out of my comfort zone and had a piece of the outside world.

Pangs.

I have to talk about my wonderful day on 21 August, but I shall leave that till the day I have much time to spare.

Cell.

I feel restricted here. I have to restrain myself from saying so many things and all that I am saying here are so superficial. I won't exactly say that it is driving me up the wall. Let's just say, I am not fond of such a feeling.

I won't be updating too often, just for this duration. Life is pretty mundane for me now. I don't even know what to say.

Wait, let me just alter my words. I won't be posting any lengthy entry too frequently now. I'm hoping I would have a fulfilling Friday this week. If fate and luck permits (oh, whatever), you'll be in for a treat. I'm referring to a substantial post. Good plans (but just too many of them) are lining up, minus the fact that I'll be sitting for my first paper on that very day.

Oh, please! Let Friday be a brilliant day.

Shining.

Morning call.
Weeeee :D

To think I was actually looking for the same thing as a stranger in the shop. What a coincidence.
You are in for a treat.

1119 hours.

A title.

I had late dinner, or supper, rather, at Fish&Co. with dearest.
Miss him.

It's time.

I had a dream last night. As a matter of fact, I had a couple of dreams, but I only remembered one even though it wasn't important neither does it holds much significance.
I didn't see it, but I heard it.
Three minutes.
I wanted to tell you about it, but I didn't have the chance.

Never mind about it.

Future.

If optimism doesn't exist in the present, what about the future?

Standstill.

Put an end to it.

We should just stop arguing over insignificant issues. It is absurd.

School. School. School.
Tutorial ended a quarter before ten. Apparently, I rushed to school, for nothing?! With a snap of my fingers, I blew ten bucks on cab fare. Hamz got smarter this time, making a wise decision to forfeit a cab ride to school. Dominic Seah is actually a nice man. Quite the opposite of what we thought he was.

Just like last week, I spent my day with my lovely girls, but Mas passed since she was meeting her friend.

I would like to think that everything is back to normal. It seems like it has. I'm crossing my fingers. Apologies, for the previous post. I wasn't in the right state of mind.
You are just the sweetest little thing.

Just foob me.

Foob=Fuck
Fuck=Foob

Time to unleash the swearing words. Pardon me.

WHAT A FOOBING BITCH YOU ARE. Are you just foobing dumb? Foobing dimwit. Did you foobing have nothing else better to do than to foobing crack such a foobing joke? You are such a foobing bonehead. The functions of your foobing pea brains are meant to foobing think, but apparently, I am guessing your foobing brains are simply foobing worthless. You foobing blew it, you foobing moron. Foob it! You foobing misplaced his trust for you. Which foobing jackass would joke about such a foobing ridiculous thing? You, of course. Foobing airhead. I foobing swear that if he distrust you, bitch, from this foobing incident onwards, you had better foobing forget about every single foobing thing and retreat yourself into solitude and foobing reflect on your foobing shit. Your foobing verdict will be passed down tomorrow, so you better foobing cross your fingers the whole foobing night, bitch. See what the foob have you gotten your foobing self into? You have foobing gone way too overboard.

(I thought this got a little funny.)

Sincere apologies, really.

Missing.

I miss dearest.

I do.

Do you feel something amiss?
Because I do
.

Slumber party.

On Sunday night, Sally was so thoughtful to pick me up from my house before we set off to Anne's place. It felt rather creepy to wander around my estate at night when it was all dim and quiet. All we heard were our voices and the rustling underneath our shoes.

We dropped our belongings off at Anne's house before heading to the petrol kiosk to grab some snacks. At the same time, we met Ween there and we went back to Anne's crib together.

After much deliberation, we have decided to catch Dawn of the Dead. We were in the TV room by ourselves and we made the couch like our own cradle with pillows piled up by the sides.

It was so thrilling and apparently, all of us were screaming in shock throughout the entire film. Instead of grabbing the edges of our seats, we were gripping our blankets and clutching our pillows.
We were like sitting through a visual roller coaster ride.

The next movie we watched us Poseidon. It has been quite some time now since I last saw that film, so everything was pretty much stale in my head. All I knew was that Josh Lucas is hot and charming. Now tell me who can ever resist a man's mesmerising charm.

We chose something lighter for our third, and it is none other than White Chicks.
Classic!
Despite watching it for umpteen times, it will never be a bore or a junk that is strewn out of the rack. Besides, what is a sleepover without a chick flick?

Nearing the very end of the show, I decided to catch a wink. I wasn't particularly sleepy, though. Eyelids weren't shutting yet, but I felt that I could do with some beauty sleep. I sprawled on the floor with a thin slice of soft mat (I would think that it was made of cotton) between me and the polished surface.

It wasn't too long before I was subconscious. I wasn't totally oblivious to the happenings in the room and I was aware that they were catching Twilight as the forth show. While I slept at a quarter before 0600, Anne dozed off halfway through the movie, Sally and Ween fell asleep at around 0800.

We were all awoken by Ween as she had a really bad sinus. Good timing as it was only a matter of time that all of us had to rise. It wasn't too long before Nab arrived and we considered watching Final Destination I. However, we paused after the first killing second to the plane explosion as our delivery was here.

HUNGRY.
HUNGRY.
HUNGRY.

After the scrumptious lunch, we lost the mood to watch any movie. So we lazed around on the couch and chatter
away away away.

Some time later, I was getting a little exhausted so I followed suit and slept with Sally. When I woke up, the girls were starting on Hostel. Having nothing else to do, I climbed onto the couch and settled myself beside Anne and Nab. Moments later, Lyn joined us too :D

It was yet another gruesome movie, but I felt that it wasn't good enough. Well, it wasn't that thrilling, and there weren't much killings to begin with. Nevertheless, I loved hearing us scream in synchronisation as though it was a symphony.

The rest of the evening was spent playing cards. When I got home at night, I was delighted as I finally reunite with my my laptop!
I miss the smell of it.
I miss it when I press my fingers gently against each key.
I miss you!

I had a blast.

Blast the day.

Jean, it is time to wipe that grin off your face and get cracking here.

Friday was sweet.
As usual, I lacked the determination to go for my first lecture. I was meeting Anne, so I had to skip my second lecture too. To spell it out for you, I missed both of my lectures on Friday.
Just like good old times.

I dragged Anne to venture those pretty pretty shops with pretty pretty clothes with me.
A-G-O-N-Y, when you have insufficient shopping funds.
Need some help here :D
MONEY, ME LIKEY.
We had lunch together too.

We dropped by Fish&Co. and I deposited Anne there since her dad was around.

Next thing next, I went to meet soulmate and we headed to E! Hub for a movie.
Seriously, it has been a long time since we last rushed for anything! It felt like I was on an adventure, in the fashion-police-rejected(FPR) outfit, illegal footwear- flats, and lugging those shopping bags of mine. As you all know, I don't have very long legs too, especially when compared to NABILAH ZAHARAH SHAH.
One stride of hers is like two swift leaps of mine.

We watched The Hangover and of course, I enjoyed the comedy flick itself.
Bradley Cooper!
Isn't he just the hottest thing alive? (Only valid for this post.)
He was so, smoking, smouldering hot!

The rest of our evening was spent chilling together along with constant blabbering. Well, you know us girls.

Slumber party at Anne's place was just the thing we all needed. It was simply way too awesome. Beyond words, sweethearts.
But..
I will leave that for another day.
Need to rest soon, lest someone preaches again.

Goosenuts.

Jean.

You have got to sleep early, sweetheart. Look at the time now. Late nights give you nightmares. You don't want that to happen, do you? So good to bed now, young lady.

Goodnight.

So difficult.

Why can't I ever comprehend?
The words you put across are just like cracks on the parched cemented ground.
That feeling is just like a passing cloud, showering rain and clashing thunders when it comes.
Inevitable as it is, I will catch a cold.
Running wild, but I know my worries aren't unduly.

It will linger till it gets better.
Take care.

Greatness.

GUESS WHAT?
Just a couple more posts and I will hit 300 counts.
Hooray!

I blew ten bucks on cab fare, yet again. Things doesn't seem to change, does it? I only have myself to blame. It takes a a really long time for my mind to pull my body out of bed.
Then fix it, sister.
The core of the problem lies with my habit of turning in late. At least I still kept my promise of sleeping earlier than the previous night. You get me.

I rushed through preparations of dolling myself up though nothing fancy for a Thursday. Headed straight for the main road and flagged for a cab. I was messaging Cryst along the way and we thought she would arrive later. Little did we expect her to reach a tad earlier and with much coincidence, we bumped into each other at the cargo lift.

Initially, we all thought Marketing Fundamentals tutorial was a great waste of our time which also stung our hearts quite a bit knowing that we splurged on cab fares unnecessarily. However, it wasn't a wasted trip when our project status was reveal led to all of us.

It was an intense moment. The very first group engaged in a long conversation with Mr Seah, with frequent insertions of smiles and laughs. I was guessing that Botak's group must have gotten a satisfying grade.

Supposedly, we were after the first group, but Zhi Guang kept pleading us for him to go first since he was the only one. Apparently, the rest of his mates were absent. Jean, don't be envious, you have already used up your chance. We gave in to him and sure enough, he didn't take long. Not at all.

I was afraid that it was going to be yet another disheartening piece of news. He took a glimpse at all of our faces with his regular smile drawn across his face, flashing no hint of his teeth, then settled his gaze on me.
Him: So how are you?
Me: Err, I'm fine?
Him: Okay already?
Me: Yeah, I'm okay.
Him: Haven't seen you in awhile.
Me: Yeah..

He started off slow. He began by highlighting the strengths of our project. When such things happen, more often than not, I would get the impression that bad news are brewing right behind the 'but'. As he went on, things got better, and better. Things that contributed largely to our B+ were, STP, 4 Ps and recommendations. Did I just say B+?
YES, A B+!
After giving us shit and hell, we were finally awarded with B+. For someone without much achievements, B+ means the world to me.

My girls and I had our lunch at Mensa 1. A good lunch, but the trip to and fro was really a torment. We were baking under the scorching sun with the intense heat burning through our skins. I bet the heat can even penetrate through the grounds of Earth, let alone subtle human skin. Poor us.

Cryst parted from us to assist the booth BSC set up, while the remaining five of us left school and headed for Hamz's house.

Sheng Wei left us from Hamz's house, so the rest of us took a bus down to Tampines. We spent some time together before we split up. Mas went home to prepare herself for AC, and I separated from Hamz and Adz to meet Anne.

Moments when I would dig at myself.

Try, trying.

I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.
I will understand.

I can't take the emptiness and nothingness.
What is a routine when it doesn't happen even just for this once?

What about my Wednesday?

Good enough to say good, I suppose. With an exception, though.

I dragged my body out of bed after much procrastination. I prepared myself for two whole hours before making my way out of house to meet Cryst. The prompt arrival of the bus played a huge part in sending me to Tampines bus interchange dead on time. That little achievement of mine was enough to made me feel proud of myself. It is not very often that I have achievements, you know.

Girls are hot and pretty. Perhaps, I should bend towards homosexuality.

RA1 tutorial can never be any different. However, today's tutorial was a tad different.
(My nature.)
Instead of the usual routine of having us presenting the answers, Ms Ng obliged to do the honour.
In the midst of our tutorial, Ms Ng was distracted by the cart situated along the corridor. She wanted to get something to satisfy her hunger, but she realised she hadn't had her purse with her. Nevertheless, she permitted us to buy some light snacks from the Sugar Loaf cart.

Anne crashed my Microeconomics lecture and we scooted off when we had our break. I thought if we steer clear from Cheers and the gents, we, or rather, I, would be away from his span of vision. It may be pointless still, but at least I can get over the guilt biting on my conscience.

Little did I expect that my devised plan failed. He spotted us and I felt the guilt and awkwardness. Then again, it is already over, so heck it.

I hate it when I come to the point of feeling too tired to continue.
So I guess it is goodbye.

Goodnight.
See, I understand. Therefore, no disappointment.

Not again.

Going against my principle just to grasp this everything as my possession.
Holding it back.
Holding it back.
Doing good.

Let me reminisce and keep you in suspense.
My favourite.

Remember that afternoon..
You actually knew.

Remember that evening..
Unfamiliar you, right across the table.

Remember my first time around..
It was your business and I didn't care.

Remember the first time..
The excitement began.

Remember the next day..
What you asked before you went away.

Remember the same night..
You kept your promise.

Remember that morning..
You asked me something that the whole world already knew about it.

Remember that smokey night..
Looking good with your forte.
I saw what you love for the very first time.
Your reaction when I tried to provoke you for the fun of it.

Remember the following morning..
You apologised for disturbing.
You tried to reassure me that everything will be fine.
You persuaded me to attempt to salvage the situation.

Remember on your dinner table..
I got agitated yet excited with everything I saw.

Remember you offered me something I like..
But I grumbled.

Remember when you came that night..
You weren't the center of attraction.
You asked me something that was true, but I lied.
I got home all safe and sound.
You knew where I live.

Remember you mentioned about a book..
It was interesting to you.

Remember that picture..
We had it the same.

Remember how amused I was..
When you put your knowledge into use, thanks to me.

Remember out in the sun..
You settled my curiosity simply with two words I will never forget.

Remember that exhausted night..
Your thoughtfulness I rejected.
Your apology I accepted.

Remember the next morning before the war began..
What I taught was surprisingly put into good use. I thought it wasn't meant for me.
The whole afternoon to myself.

Remember that early morning before daybreak..
You thanked me for preaching.

Remember that day when you agreed..
I said I was intimidated, you said don't be.

Remember that wonderful night..
You told me not to worry, you'll take over the responsibility.
You told me you would find it.

Remember on some nights..
I wanted to confide into you so badly, yet I told you to wait.

Remember that afternoon..
I burst out laughing when you yelled.
You were gone one moment, but returned the next moment.
Your appreciation I am so grateful to.

Remember that day..
I could only stay close at North.
Yet another of your strength I was impressed with.

Remember when I received your text..
Then I met you on the way by coincidence.

Remember those words we used say..
Somehow or rather, they would end up like this.

Remember how I bombarded you with questions..
But nonetheless, you would answer them all.

Remember how you saw my first achievement..
And I was proud of myself.

Remember that woman..
We got so annoyed by her.

Remember how I snapped at you..
But you knew I had things on my mind.

Remember how you wanted something..
Fate didn't permit.

Remember when I displayed a picture..
I realised how much you enjoy their company.

Remember my absence..
You knew what was wrong.

Remember you admitted you were an idiot..
Smiling to yourself.

Remember how things took a slight turn..
You promised to be nicer.

Remember those nights..
Little bit of togetherness here and there.

Remember the wickedness in you..
Praying for imperfect nights.

Remember that adventurous night..
I thought everything was good, but guess I was wrong.

Remember that night when I knew the answer..
I was still having fun.
This close.

Remember those frequent mornings..
You had a part in making it possible for me.

Remember that event..
Seeing that, I knew it was coming true.
An unexpected text, followed by constant preaching.

Remember how I am always excited..
The same old cheap thrill.

Remember that dinner..
I was already sure, and I was trying to stay close.

Remember that supposedly good night for you..
You got so worried, but I don't know what was wrong.

Remember a couple of mornings..
Your messages were my alarms.

Remember the dead end..
Almost perfect. Almost.

Remember that night..
Supposedly to ignore. Undeniably impossible.
Heartless.

Remember that night..
You were a tad unusual, right at the last table.

Remember the film..
You did something very surprisingly quite the opposite of what you have done previously.

Remember the lovely night..
When I had my chance, as promised.
What you said made me woke up from my beauty sleep.
You got fierce.

Remember the next night..
Got even better, like sugar.
Definitely not what I have imagined.

Remember your absence..
I did the same thing twice, every single day, without fail.

Remember that early afternoon..
You asked for my opinion.

Remember what you had..
I had it too, and it reminded you of me.

Remember when you mentioned about it..
Right on the top, right beside the screen.
Then came the two photos.

Remember that night when you had a drastic change..
I got used to it, and I injured your organs.

Remember the first sight..
The stroll with stories of experiences.

Remember during my lecture..
One word made my whole day so much better.

Remember that beautiful object..
Reminds you of me.

Remember you got worried..
For the first time, you thought I was playing it real.

Remember that evening..
We had dinner.

Remember another evening..
The whole world saw.
Somewhere further, and across a road.

Remember when I got angry and worried..
You apologised for your actions, anyway.

Remember when I wasn't quite myself..
You checked on me.
You wouldn't mind doing it on my behalf.

Remember it was your turn..
I could do no nothing, because it was already over.
But one word made it good.

Remember when you didn't..
But you did, eventually, and insisted that you did.

Remember you apologised..
For something I didn't ask.

Remember you were disappointed..
My old habit kicked in.

Remember you wanted the answer..
I gave you one, but you weren't satisfied.

Don't question. Don't make wild guesses. Don't jump into conclusions.

OH MY GOSH! I took three hours to do this. Wow, Jean, I am impressed with you.

Goodnight.

Double breaths in a single breath.

I have just discovered something just as I was about to go to bed last night. How nice. Nevertheless, it made me haaapppppyyyyyy!
I got so excited that I felt a tingling sensation right across my heart. I swear with my balls that the thought of it made me hyperventilated and I kept gasping for air twice as I took a breath. Erratic breathing!
But whatever it is, it happened about a month ago..

Want to hear about my weirdest weird dream? Of course you do (:
You know how dreams can be quirky, right? So try to catch up with me.

I dreamt that I had some peculiar disease that was termed as Bubble Pop. Yes, like what the scumbag. It was nasty, I tell you! You can never imagine how ghastly and hideous I looked. I had bubbles surfacing then they popped by themselves.
HOW REVOLTING.
I am already getting the shivers.

A doctor, out of nowhere, emerged into my dream, and kindly offered to attend to me. Apparently, he exuded charm that probably knocked me out. No, I was just kidding. I didn't even see his face, but well, nice doctors always have that charisma.

He took my temperature, and it was 42 degree Celsius. In my dream, that temperature is supposedly fatal. Within minutes, I fell into coma. Despite being comatose, I was still aware of the surrounding happenings.

Funny thing was, I was only unconscious for no longer than two revolutions around the clock. After which, I tottered my way to a place, perhaps a place I am missing.

So I am just leaving this as it is..

Time's up.

What? What happened? What actually happened?
I'm sorry it had to be me. I didn't have a choice, did I?

Left with no more cough syrup. I'm still coughing.
Not tired.

Just make my week better, will you?

Under observation.

I have finally discovered one cool thing about my daddy.

HE USED TO
RIDE
A
SCRAMBLER!

Come on, who would have guessed he actually owned a scrambler.
SCRAMBLER.
(Sorry, I'm just way too surprised.)

I know he used to ride. Yes, I do. He used to recite stories of his glorious days riding a bike and bragged about his accident. Why did I say he boasts about his fateful accident? I will get to that later.

I still recall those days when he would bore my brother and I about his bike stories. According to his recollections, apart from schooling at Singapore Polytechnic, he also took up some course in an ITE that was greatly related to bikes, motors and whatnot. Are you even sure there is such a course? However, my interests have changed. So I am hoping he would reiterate those stories all over again, and again, and again. Back then during his time, his scrambler cost only 450 bucks. Can you believe how cheap that is?

I am absolutely sure my daddy would violently object, refuse, forbid me to ever ride a bike, all thanks to his fateful accident back then. Apparently, he skidded in the rain, and ended up hobbling in crutches for a month. What do you get? I get my hopes dashed. But..

I still can't picture my daddy on a scrambler!

Oh, just shut me up!

I want mine a sports, in black, red/ green rims, followed by gold and silver.
Marry me.

Crosses.

May tomorrow be a better day, please.

Ignore me, ignore you.

Still believing, still trusting.
So many voices screaming, screaming at one mind.
I can't comprehend, I can't fathom, I can't decipher, I can't read between the lines.
I don't know what should my next step be. I can't make up my mind.
A whirlwind of thoughts.
Let me in, won't you?
Just what are you trying to say?

The comfort I seek reading those scrolls of words, again and again.
Puts my heart at ease. Puts my mind to sleep.

Oh my gosh, this is brainsick.
You choose.

I just got to know that I have E-learning E-commerce shizzzt that needs to be completed by 31 July 2009, 2355 hours, which is apparently just few minutes away.
(By the time I post this, it would have been long over.)
I don't know. I have never had the intention of doing that. You would be able to relate to my feelings once you see the report criteria. I swear with my balls that you would hurl abuse right at that instant.

School has been such a drag.
I rushed down to school today as I thought my group needed my feedback form to round everything up and meet the submission time. On my way to school, I learnt that they have completed my form for me. I felt touched, yet at the same time, I felt bad because I know they must have panicked in frustration.
Nonetheless, thank you, my lovely girls (:

It was such a relief seeing Mas sliding the envelope into Dominic Seah's locker. At last, Marketing Fundamentals project is submitted! Apart from that, we have also handed in our final project which was Microeconomics.

Don't question me about what I am going to do next :D

See the pattern? These few girls are the ones that have been with me throughout these few months and I truly appreciate what they have done for me. Only I know how much they mean to me. Their care and concern moved my heart. I may not vividly recall how did we started out as a clique, but nevertheless, I hope nothing will ever change between us. We are all from different walks of life, so we should be grateful that we actually got together. Remember that Thomas Lee said that we are cohesive? Don't forget that. We have our own shortcomings and differences. What makes us stronger as a group is when we learn how to overcome these differences. It isn't easy, is it? I don't know what future may bring us, but what I know is that we should cherish every single moment we have now.

After grabbing my lunch with the girls at Mensa 1, we went all over to hunt down for Thomas Lee since Hamz and I were supposed to do our POM individual presentation today. When we finally found him, he led us to a meeting room that was extremely cosy we didn't even bear to leave.

I obediently went for lecture and unfortunately, the lecturer wasn't Thomas Lee. He would have made such a boring topic more lively and fun with his jokes accompanied by his nonchalant face. But seriously, the topic we did today was very dry, and pretty lengthy too.

Anyhow, after lecture, I was hanging around with Mas and Sheng Wei. When Mas left to meet her friends, Sheng Wei's friends came to join us. So I got to know three new guys. Jun Ming from TP Mechatronics, Tim from SP Chemical Engineering and Hafidz from NP Real Estate. How cool is that! They are such chummy people and I had fun engaging in conversations with them. Hafidz wants to get a bike, so I supported his decision. But the rest were jokingly protesting against bike license as they were persuading in unison for Hafidz to get a car license.

I spent some time with soulmate as we walked to TM from school. I miss her because I haven't exactly been seeing her a lot these few days, let alone spend some quality time with her. But it is okay, at least we have mobile phones and MSN to keep us connected.

Nadz, soulmate and I dropped by Cold Storage for a tour. Nadz said I mustn't ask him any question. Knowing me, I cannot help but to bombard lots of questions as I am really inquisitive. So I tried to hold my mouth but to no avail. Halfway through, Nadz gave up on it, but it was too late. I already had too many questions to ask!
Yes, fine, the tour was fun :D

This is insane!

Your cheeks.

Today was definitely one of a kind, even though technically, everyday is always something different.

Isn't it surprising that Jean actually has the time to post an entry tonight? Well, I have time to spare, you see :D

I started my day feeling a tad excited, however, I still had to muster all the determination I have just to drag myself out of bed. Same old routine and I am utterly sick of it. Where is my source of motivation? I am in need of that! Where is that dork in me waiting to break free from its shell?

I was contemplating so hard on my outfit and that was probably a contributing factor to why I was running late for school this morning. Can't blame me! I was in a dilemma, deliberating between a blouse and a plain tee. Just so you know, I was going for my CSA presentation. I eventually matched my high-waisted formal skirt with a plain tee.

As I was seriously rushing for time, I flagged for a cab and made my way to school in the comfort of my favourite public transport.
(You won't even tell me why were you disappointed.)

The moment I stepped into the lab, Amanda shot a question at me.
Amanda: Wah, why so formal?
Haha, so cute. I was surprised because I didn't realise I actually looked formal in their eyes.

Whatever the case, CSA presentation is over! After all, that was my FIRST presentation ever since I entered this school. I missed POM presentation, if you are not aware. Remember Jean, you'll be doing your POM presentation on Thursday, along with Hamz.

I have to say that Thomas Lee is currently my favourite tutor! I am sure you guys would stand in unison with me. Come on, you have to agree he is the most hilarious tutor! Not only he has a good sense of humour, he is also extremely understanding and very concerned about the students' welfare. You get what I mean, don't you? :D

Guess what? I went straight home after school! Beat that, people. I cannot believe it myself! It was definitely to my benefit as I needed some rest. At the same time, I've got lots of things to do. That is poly life for you, isn't it?

But now, knowing that I have made my mind up on you-know-what, I can spare myself the agony of completing my tutorial in great frustration. You go, girl! Hoho.

Your cheeks (:

Space.

YAY.
I was with dearest, Anne and Ash in the afternoon.
I miss BBF!
Last night was great, and this morning was awesome (:

Back on track, please.

I was deliberating really hard earlier on if I should post an entry or not. Before that, I was typing out my reply to my mum's letter. I know it isn't as sincere as penning a letter itself, but I guess the number of words can compensate, somehow or rather. It was a 888 words essay. Doesn't that number sound auspicious to you?

My day started with a morning call from soulmate. Let me just tell you, that has never been published in the book of records. The tables have turned.
...

This may sound silly and ridiculous, but suddenly, I don't want to carry on..
In summary, I went back to school with soulmate for filming.

More than enough, perhaps.

Let me start off by saying that I miss dearest vey very much.
As a matter of fact, I miss four herds of people.
I miss my bunch of Horny Bananas.
I miss my shoal of seven fishes.
I miss my class clique of five (though I just saw all of you guys).
I miss my beloved Sophix.

I was dead beat last night and sometimes the weirdest things can happen to you when you are that exhausted. This is not exactly an ideal example of what I would use 'weird' to describe, but it was hilarious enough to make my night a tad memorable.

Anyway, was it the previous night that I missed all four alarms? Yeah, I reckon so. Never mind that.
Back to my story..

I was lying on my left with my mobile phone in my hands as I intended to set my alarms before going to bed, as of what I would do every night without fail. However, I fell asleep unknowingly and I am guessing I was way too weary to stay up even for another minute. Halfway through the night, I woke up, only to realise that I have yet to set my alarm. So just as I was about to punch in the time I want to rise the next morning, I fell back to sleep, again! I was lucky enough not to have any morning tutorial, otherwise, I am bound to run late.

Anyhow, I woke up at 1100, sacrificing my first lecture to sleep in a little longer. I was this close to forgo my second lecture, but rejected the tempting thought as my inner voice was taking control over my strong-willed (not!) mind.

I was terribly proud of myself as I resisted flagging for a cab. Instead, I opted for a public transport, none other than something called bus, and it was bus 518 I took. I love this bus line so much better than bus 81.
In all truth and nothing but the truth, bus 81 sucks more than the vacuum cleaner Loke was trying to promote in discretion.
The drivers suck because they can't drive better than the bus driver on the bus that goes round and round.
The buses itself suck because since the drivers suck, the buses are also implicated. I'm sorry, buses. That is how your lives should be. Blame it on your drivers, not me.
The passengers suck because China women are always sitting beside me. Goodness gracious, am I a China women magnet?! Please, no no no! *Cross fingers*

Why does bus 518 rocks?
The drivers are supposedly more classy as they charge a slightly higher fare, therefore, they have to provide better services.
The buses will then be implicated positively, so good for them.
The passengers..
There may be occasional rides where you encounter irritants, but that is inevitable. Let me draw an instance from today's ride. Yes, we can expect fewer passengers, but no, there was a gang of kids being boisterous, flaunting the abilities of their Pokemon pets on their game consoles as if the whole world is interested. I was already blasting my music and yet I can still hear them blabbering. Argh, spare me.

So there was I in school, reuniting with the other four of them. It was great to have everyone back. Hamz and I were running a high temperature and Mas was down with gastric flu. Adz and Cryst were the survivors, and still going strong.
Cryst: I have a high immune system.
It is the season of fever and gastric flu.

Lecture was strange, strange in the sense that Loke(uncle Benny) was simply one oddball. Whatever he does just sends question marks to our frequency of thoughts, and no information can be matched. Everyone had unanimous reaction throughout the lecture. We would knit our brows together and 'huh' in symphony.

I am not implying that I dislike him, neither am I saying that I fancy him. I just can't stop wondering if he is somewhat corrupted in his mind. You should have seen the videos he showed us. I really can't fathom why. Haha. He kind of reminded me of our secondary school's relief teacher, the durian seller with fake Rolex. Let me make this clear. It is NOT an insult. I am just saying it.

Don't you think the weather today was pretty good? The entire day seemed as though it was 0700 throughout. So, I was with Nab and Ain after school and we were hanging out at Mcdonalds initially. We filled Ain in with our happenings before heading back to Pasir Ris to end our day there. Yes, I am aware that I stay in Pasir Ris itself.

We took a bus back to Downtown and we strolled from there to there and out to there and all the way to the minimart over there. Not forgetting, these two kind souls escorted me home.
Back home, safe and sound.

Balls.

I have miraculously, unknowingly, subconsciously memorised my examination timetable. That doesn't even happen in a blue moon!
So can I now believe that even miracles do exist?
Not really.

Tuesday, July 21, 2009

Shhh.

OH MY GOODNESS!
Time to hide my face.

Monday, July 20, 2009

Spare me.

Yesterday was kind of awkward and all, but since I was still feeling unwell, my attention was apparently diverted to myself.

This was what happened. I met up with Anne along the way and we headed to Downtown together. Coincidentally, we bumped into Nadz and Nab when we were about to take the escalator down, and them, in the opposite direction.

So we were roped in to throw a little birthday surprise for dearest, and a belated one for Nadz.

As time went by, I felt my temperature rising. Nadz said I looked like I was on the verge of collapsing.
NOOOOO! It mvst haue been svch an awfvl sight.
Nab was right. When I fall sick, I will be very sick.

I have never been so vulgar before. I have been mentally hurling abuse at myself. It is such a wrong time to fall ill! Grrr..

After the whole mini celebration, Nab, Anne and Ash walked me over to Nadz's bike. There was this brief moment of silence when I was wondering about something. I thought Nadz should turn out the other way instead of that way then I realised the arrow was directing that way instead of the other way.
Confused? So am I.
Anyhow, he sent me home and that probably set soulmate's mind at ease(:

17 July.

Saturday, July 18, 2009

What an ending.

Rotten luck.
As if my week wasn't bad enough. Now, I have to end it with a fever.
I woke up feeling very uncomfortable and unwell, only to realise I was running a temperature. I asked my brother where the thermometer was, he conveniently shrugged his shoulders and told me to look for it myself. I warned him not to tell my dad about me, but no, he had to do so. Then I crawled back to bed. That action of his made me sleep in no peace at all. My dad constantly came in to check on me, persuading me to get a doctor. Nothing new.

When I officially got out of bed, I was feeling a tad better. Just that I still had dizzy spells. However, that didn't ruin my appetite for some Tom Yum soup. I don't know why, but I would always crave for spicy food when I am ill, especially Tom Yum soup. I can still remember my vomiting symphony vividly.
Shudders.

I indulged myself with ice cream, brownie and chocolates. But apparently, I was couch-ridden. I thought I would get better so long as I was a little bit active. Guess I was wrong. By the time evening curtain was drawn, my temperature went up to 38.2 degree Celsius.

I thought it couldn't have gotten any worse. Guess I was wrong again. It shot up to 38.7 degree Celsius. I finally gave up and put away my obstinate front, and popped in a paracetamol tablet. Miraculously, my temperature dropped to 37.8 degree Celsius. I was surprised as I never knew the medication is that effective. Paracetamol sure does wonders. I am a whole lot better now.

HAPPY MERRY BIRTHDAY, DEAREST!
I will always love you, best friend.
I miss you so much :D

Forever doubting, doubting forever.

Searching for a thousand and one reasons to give you the benefit of doubt.
Things change, things have changed. The freshness is dying along with each passing day.
Way too overwhelming.
Conquering my mind.
Distracting.
Liking it, yet not liking it.

It has been centuries since I last written a substantial post. I need to gradually pick up the momentum. But then again, project deadlines are queuing in line, and up next is our final examinations. Let me guess, I would have to prepare for five papers. Oh, I'm surprised!
Sooo not.

On a lighter note, my beloved group mates and I have successfully completed our POM project and handed in bang on time. Three cheers for Adz, Cryst, Hamz, Jean and Mas!
WOOHOO!!!
Whistles.

I would really like to summarise my week with a positive ring. However, like what I have told you right at the beginning of the week, my week wouldn't turn out good. Not about perceptions or whatever, it is just one of those weeks. Thankfully, my POM project wasn't implicated. In retrospect, I wouldn't mind trading five days of torture for good grades for POM project in return.

I skipped a couple of lectures and a tutorial this week, but surprisingly, there isn't even a tinge of regret. I am guessing it is because I skipped lessons to sleep in a tad longer, or to work on my project. In this case, I am referring to POM presentation slide show.

I jumped RA1's lecture, for the first time in my whole entire life breathing on a planet. Reason being, I was way too tired, hence the decision of absenting myself from lecture. Come on, it was a Monday! I was placing high hopes in keeping a clean, sleek record for RA! All broken now. But since I have learnt that the lecture was simply a waste of time, it is sufficient to compensate my blemished record.

I hopped MF's tutorial. Same reason as mentioned above. Our tutor didn't review our report that particular day. I have the ability to choose the correct lectures or tutorials to skip. Hoho. I remember he also didn't assess our report when I hopped his tutorial previously.

I leaped MF's lecture today to sleep in a little longer, and I think I deserve it! Haha. Just so you know, I was up last night to read through POM's project and smooth out the creases.
(I missed out whatever click click thing Adz and Cryst was talking about.)

Last but not least, I bounced POM's lecture. Well, it was a group alliance. All, for working on our slide show. We got our presentation part, by luck, and apparently, Cryst was the unfortunate one. Supposedly, she was to present on Controlling, which was the longest shizzzt everrr. But since she wasn't too confident about that, I decided to switch with her after slight contemplation. So now, she will be presenting the part on Leading. My roots... Haha!
Just to reassure you, babe, no worries, I am perfectly fine with it. Otherwise, why would I even suggest it, right?

Nooooo, my post is revolving around projects, projects, and more projects!

You rock.

Flip those pages.

My fruitful day.

I had a lovely time with my four other girls, Adz, Cryst, Hamz and Mas. No doubt we kept getting distracted whilst doing our project, but I guess those laughters perked us up.

After which, I spent some time with Hamz before going our separate ways. So off I went to the airport to have my dinner.

I dropped by Fish&Co. and I got to hang out with dearest, Anne and Ash. I miss dearest.

I know, it's getting boring in here.
